Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre

Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre, a registered charity and licensed zoo established in the late 80s, is a small sanctuary for exotic animals and birds of prey. As well as a hospital unit for the treatment of wild raptors (not on display), the centre is home to over 30 different species of bird of prey, primate, reptile, invertebrate, raccoons, cats and more.

They helped with our wheelchair guest then served a lovely afternoon tea.
Nothing was too much trouble.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Came to visit Gentleshaws Wildlife Centre and stopped in the cafe and garden centre too! The cafe was extremely busy, but the staff were still very friendly and working as hard as they could. We had a peaches ice tea, which was honestly the nicest ice tea I’ve ever had! Food came out quickly, which was a surprise considering the amount of people in the cafe! Garden centre was reasonably priced. Had a great visit and would recommend this place to others.

Good Garden centre with lots of gifts and plants,nice cafe, gentleshaws wildlife centre only 5 to go in, miniature train, crazy golf and small playground. 2026 wildlife centre still 5 to go in and hss been expanded , bird flying displays 2pm. Play park has been updated, cafe expanded and more small businesses are there in cabins. Clothes for sale in the Garden centre now too.
